Putra Graduate On Time (GOT), an offshoot of the Putra Sarjana Programme, is initiated by the School of Graduate Studies (SGS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Its purpose is to create awareness among students and academics the importance of graduating within an achievable time period. The programme also aims to support postgraduate students’ research activities through a systematic learning programme.

GOT for Masters students is within 4 semesters of study, and 7 or 8 semesters for PhD students. Thus, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through its School of Graduate Studies (SGS), invites you to attend the following seminar:

Seminar Focus

The completion of a PhD on time reduces the risk of upsetting other parts of your life. The tagline “Get in, get done, get out and get on with life” has inspired and fuelled many PhD students to get it done fast. The longer a person spends in the PhD process, the less likely he or she is going to complete as the momentum slows down. In addition, it requires more ‘fuel’ to get it back on track. Dr Tee and Dr Serene will share with students their experience in completing their PhDs and highlight tips on how they manage to produce Graduate-On-Time PhD students.
