Putra Graduate On Time (GOT), an offshoot of the Putra Sarjana Programme, is initiated by the School of Graduate Studies (SGS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Its purpose is to create awareness among students and academics the importance of graduating within an achievable time period. The programme also aims to support postgraduate students’ research activities through a systematic learning programme.
GOT for Masters students is within 4 semesters of study, and 7 or 8 semesters for PhD students. Thus, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through its School of Graduate Studies (SGS) invites students to attend the following seminar:
Speaker 1: Dr. Tee Keng KokIt is of utmost importance that PhD candidates like you draw up, set and monitor milestones in your PhD journey. Candidates do not have the luxury of time. Time is always not on your side in a PhD endeavour. So many things to do, yet so little time. Dr Amer and Dr Dahlia will share their unique experiences pursuing their PhDs in two different parts of the world, each with its own challenges. And how they survived the PhD challenge!
