UPM JOINT PhD SUPERVISION PROGRAMME 

For Inbound Student (Student From Overseas Universities)

1. Contact the International and Mobility Unit of the School of Graduate Studies to check your eligibility and to get all the important information about the programme. Any student who would like to join the programme must fulfil the minimum requirements as below:

1.  Only first year PhD students are allowed to apply.
2.  The study status must be “Good Standing”.
3.  Student must have obtained a minimum score of 6.0 for IELTS or its equivalent.

2. Identify potential Host supervisor at UPM and send them a request for confirmation. The following documents are normally required before a request can be considered:

1. CV
2. Research proposal
3. A copy of your Master’s degree certificate and transcript.

3. Download an Application Form and the Joint Supervision template agreement from the SGS website.

4.Complete the application form and the template agreement.

5. Submit both documents and all supporting documents to the International and Mobility Unit, SGS. The required supporting documents are as listed below:

1. Research proposal
2. Study timeline
3. A copy of your Master’s degree certificate and transcript
4. A copy of your passport
5. A consent letter from the Home university
