In an effort to promote UPM Postgraduate Programme, we are pleased to introduce an incentive scheme for all sponsors, namely Fee Exemption Incentive for Sponsors Scheme (FEISS). For information on this new incentive, please read the information below for the terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions of Application
- This incentive is open to all local and international sponsors except for Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) and Ministries in Malaysia;
- The sponsors must not have any active sponsorship agreement with UPM;
- The incentive is open for newly sponsored students only;
- The incentive will provide the sponsors with full fee exemption for a duration of four (4) semesters for Masters by research programmes and six (6) semesters for PhD programmes;
- Selected sponsors will be given full tuition fee exemption for every 11th scholars sent to further study in any programme by research at UPM, provided the students are not the recipients of any other fee incentive/fee discount from UPM;
- The total number of students entitled for the fee exemption will be calculated based on the number of new sponsored scholars enrolled with UPM in any two consecutive semesters. If the number is a mix of different programmes [Masters (Sciences)/ Masters (Social Sciences)/ PhD (Sciences)/ PhD (Social Sciences)], the exemption is given to the student with the lowest fee rate;
- Each sponsor is entitled for full fee exemption for a maximum of 10 students per year; and
- The student nominated for the fee exemption must obtain a written approval from the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) and must maintain a good standing status during sponsorship period.
How to Apply
Interested sponsors are advised to submit a list of nomination with details of the sponsored students, their Admission Offer Letter and sponsorship letters to the address below:
