1^st August 2022, Serdang - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has recently participated in the 14^th Malaysian Top University Education Fair 2022 at Bangladesh alongside with five (5) other universities; Malaya (UM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Antarabangsa Islam Malaysia (UIAM), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), and Universiti Multimedia (MMU) to promote the courses offerd in each institution. This program was held from 15^th till 23^rd July 2022 in four (4) cities;– Khulna, Rajshahi, Chittagong and Dhaka. UPM was represented by Mrs. Rahmawati binti Umar from the School of Graduate Studies and Mrs.Norliya binti Yahya from Division Of Admission And Division Of Academic Governance. UPM’s exhibition booth was visited by approximately 500 visitors that were interested in pursuing their studies in Bachelors Degree, Master and PhD levels in UPM. The majority of them were interested to further their studies in the Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, English Language, Human Resource Development and Marketing.

In a conclusion, UPM Postgraduate studies’ market in Bangladesh has a prominent demand and potential to be developed especially, in several identified fields.

However, information regarding policies, visa requirement(s) dan living costs should be explained in detail to provide an earlier picture for the prospective students pertaining the financial preparations that they have to make prior to pursuing their studiens in UPM. Apart from that, there were also requests for programs to be conducted online or as Open Distance Learning (ODL).
