Prof. Dr. Zuriati Ahmad Zukarnain, the Deputy Dean of the School of Graduate Studies at Universiti Putra Malaysia (SGS UPM), has been recognized as the Top Research Scientist Malaysia 2023. She was presented with the certificate for Top Research Scientist Malaysia 2023 during the Academy of Sciences Malaysia Fellowship Awards ceremony held yesterday.

Expressing her gratitude, Prof. Dr. Zuriati stated, "This award serves as an inspiration for me to redouble my efforts in realizing innovation based on science, technology, and innovation (STI) for the country. I am committed to enhancing the country's research contributions and assisting UPM in strengthening collaboration with the industry to benefit society and the nation through STI."

Earlier, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasized the importance of effective collaboration between the Malaysian scientific community, the government, industry, and society to achieve the nation's STI aspirations. The goal is for Malaysia to be ranked among the top 30 countries in the Global Innovation Index (GII) by 2025.Congratulations and well done to Prof. Dr. Zuriati Ahmad Zukarnain, from the entire SPS community!
