On August 17th, the Opening Meeting of the Internal Audit of the Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001: 2015 School of Graduate Studies was held virtually via zoom application at 9.00 am. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Zalilah Mohd Shariff, Dean of SGS, Mr. Mohd Izhwan, Chief Auditaor and all staff of SGS.

The ceremony began with an opening speech by Mrs. Norhasliza as the Deputy Management Representative (TWP) Graduate Studies on a background of Internal Audit of Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001: 2015 School of Graduate Studies. The audit process will take place from August 17th, 2021 (Monday) until August 19th, 2021 (Thursday) and continue with the Auditors' Discussion and Internal Audit Closing Meeting on August 20th 2021 (Friday).

The quality objectives that are focused in this audit process are UPM's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), the Achievement of the Functional and Level Action Plan and the Client's Charter (The University's Key Processes and Support Processes and Support Services Operations).

8 Auditors have been appointed to carry out their duties, Mr. Mohd Izhwan (Chief Auditor), Ms. Affahuraizah Abdul Rahman, Mrs. Haslinda Sello, Mrs. Maizatul Afzan Tajul Ariffin, Mr. Mohamad Hafiz Mohamad, Mr. Mohd Fariq Ismail, Mrs. Noor Alia Mohd Husin and Mrs. Rahmawati Umar.

As this is the first time SGS conducted the audit process by "Remote Audit", Mr. Mohd Izhwan (Chief Auditor), in his speech hope that all SGS staff would cooperate throughout the audit process. In addition, Internal Audit function manages the report misconduct channel and the related investigation process of alleged misconducts, and reports to the Audit Committee on submissions under this channel quarterly. 

The Opening Ceremony of the Internal Audit of the Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001: 2015 School of Graduate Studies ended at 9.30 am.
