September 27th, 2023 - As part of SPS's commitment in the SPS Strategic Plan 2021-2023, with the KPI strategy to enhance the job knowledge of SPS staff as 'SPS Product' experts, through the Action Plan: Organizing specialized and scheduled training focusing on the expertise required as SPS members, a 'Microsoft Excel - Basic and Formula' Series 1 Workshop was conducted on September 27, 2023, in the Exa IDEC Alpha Training Room at Universiti Putra Malaysia, equipped with computer sets to facilitate direct Excel learning.

One of the primary objectives of this workshop was to impart knowledge, skills, and proficiency up to a mid-level standard to the staff in using MS Excel software. Ts. Ahri Sogok, Head of Application Operations Division, IDEC UPM, was invited as the speaker. The practical session provided the staff with the skills and understanding to better and more efficiently manage data listings and exposed them to how to execute the linkage process between worksheets and workbooks to generate quick and accurate results.

The workshop lasted for half a day, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Thirty staff members from various units, including the Dean's Office, Academic Unit, Admissions Unit, Thesis Unit, Institutional Relations Unit, and the Finance Division, were involved in the workshop.
