Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through its School of Graduate Studies (SGS) has conducted a 2-day workshop entitled, "Thesis and Scientific Paper Writing Using KSI Technique" on 28 & 29 August 2017 at Putra Sarjana Room 1, School of Graduate Studies 1, UPM.
The Thesis and Scientific Paper Writing Using KSI Technique workshop comprised of two courses and includes the assessment and certificates have been awarded to those who completed the entire workshop.
The objective of this workshop is to enable postgraduate students to save time, increase the quality of thesis writing, fast publish review paper and research findings and reduce mental stress. Writing technique of general Introduction, Literature review, Introduction, Materials and methods, Result, Discussion, and Conclusion under each experiment has been explained in details according to KSI (Keywords, Sequence, Importance) technique and writing system of Summary, Recommendation and Abstract have been clarified. The expected outcome was to enable postgraduate to graduate on time (GOT) and publish papers in the reputable journal. The target audience were postgraduate students, academic staff, research fellows, postdoctoral fellow.
The speakers for the workship was Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin and Assoc. Prof. Dr. S. M. Nurul Amin. The participation fee was RM120 per person.
