SERDANG, May 21  - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has been placed as the world’s 40th top university in the field of Agribusiness/ Food Industry Management by Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking 2015/2016.

The ranking has also listed UPM as Top Five universities in Asia.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Agricultural Management program listed in the rankings is evaluated based on three questionnaires – a study on program reputation, a study on the first salary earned by a graduate and students’ satisfaction.

The score is given if the study program of the university features at least seven students from foreign countries, 20 per cent of students undergo practical training abroad, recruitment of at least five students with working experience in the related field and it offers a distance learning program.

Another program which puts UPM in the world’s radar is Master of Environment where UPM is placed as the world’s 88th top university.

In addition, Eduniversal Ranking has also listed MBA in Human Resources Management, Master in General Management (MBS Specialisation), MBA in Marketing, Master of Management in Information Technology, Master of Sciences in Accounting and MBA (Finance) as among 200 top programs in South East Asia.
