This graduate programme aims at training school teachers and professionals in guidance and counselling to improve their knowledge and skills in line with the need of the Malaysian Board of Counsellors. The programme is also capable of producing professionals who can provide counselling services to schools, families and public institutions. The emphasis is on giving students in-depth knowledge of the theories, principles and skills in counselling, and forming a scientific attitude as well as professionalism among students in order to carry out the task of guidance and counselling.
