Serdang, December 4th, 2025 — Tomorrow, 5th December 2025, marks the final session of Universiti Putra Malaysia’s (UPM) 49th Convocation. Heartfelt congratulations are extended to all students who have successfully reached this significant milestone. This year, UPM held two convocation sessions across its campuses. The first session took place at UPM Sarawak from 1–2 November 2025, while the second session was held at UPM Serdang Campus, Selangor, from 29 November to 5 December 2025. The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) played an essential role in coordinating the entire convocation process, ensuring a seamless experience for all graduates. From the initial convocation announcements, disciplinary notices, and academic gown collection, to the management of the ceremony itself and the subsequent return of gowns and collection of transcripts, SGS staff were actively involved in every stage. Their commitment and meticulous planning ensured that both convocation sessions were conducted in an organised, professional, and memorable manner.

The convocation not only celebrates academic excellence but also recognises the dedication, perseverance, and sacrifices of the graduates. Each graduate’s journey has been marked by hard work, resilience, and commitment to their studies, and this achievement stands as a testament to their determination.
