Putra Sarjana Seminar on Introduction, Problem Statement to RO/RQ with Templates and AI-Assisted PRECISE Development

On September 18th, 2024, Serdang - The Graduate School is once again pleased to collaborate with the Educational Consultant of Proofreading by a UK PhD through a webinar titled 'Introduction, Problem Statement to RO/RQ with Templates and AI-Assisted PRECISE Development,' specifically for postgraduate students conducted online via Zoom.

Dr. Thavamaran Kanesan has been invited yet again as a guest speaker. This webinar focuses on producing Master’s/PhD proposals and theses using the advantages of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, which are now widely used by students of all ages, from primary school to college and university students. This approach is seen as highly beneficial in enhancing students' ability to achieve GOT (Graduate on Time). Indirectly, the seminar also focuses on how to produce high-impact journals from the early stages of their studies. Dr. Thava emphasized that AI should be used merely to help generate ideas and should not be relied upon completely. It should be considered a smart tool to facilitate students' thesis writing.

Approximately 300 postgraduate students participated in the two-hour seminar. A Q&A session was held to allow participants to ask questions and delve deeper into the topic presented.

Dr. Thava shared his knowledge through simple and minimalist presentation slides that still managed to capture the interest and attention of all participants. The Q&A session after the presentation provided an opportunity for students to resolve their queries. The seminar started at 10 AM and ended at 12 PM.
