August 13th, 2025 – The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) continues to demonstrate its commitment to high-quality work standards by hosting a benchmarking visit from the Institute of Nanoscience and Nonotechnology (ION2), UPM. The visit focused on the implementation of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) components. The visit, which commenced at 3:00 pm, involved a delegation of 10 staff members from the Institute of Nanoscience and Nonotechnology (ION2), UPM. The arrival of the delegates was warmly received by the SGS management, viewed as a proactive step toward fostering a positive corporate culture and strengthening inter-departmental synergy within the university.
The knowledge-sharing session was chaired by the Deputy Registrar of SGS, Mrs. Norhasliza Hassan, assisted by the SGS EKSA Facilitator, Ms. Nur Nadiah Abd Rahim. The program kicked off at Meeting Room 1 (BM 1) with an opening session that included briefings on the evolution of EKSA practices within SGS and the milestones achieved in creating a systematic workplace environment. The delegates were then led on a comprehensive guided tour of the SGS building to observe the implemented initiatives firsthand. This field observation allowed visitors to interact directly with staff and exchange ideas regarding creative solutions for office space and storage management.

As the program drew to a close at 4:30 pm, a feedback session was conducted, providing an opportunity for both parties to identify areas for improvement and further empower EKSA practices in the future. The visit concluded with a group photography session, symbolizing the close collaboration between the School of Graduate Studies and the Institute of Nanoscience and Nonotechnology (ION2) in driving organizational excellence through a structured and professional work culture.
