Serdang, 31 October 2025 -- The School of Graduate Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) hosted a benchmarking session with the Asia School of Business (ASB) to exchange insights on the development and management of International Collaborative Programmes (ICP). The session aimed to share best practices, strengthen institutional linkages, and enhance understanding of effective strategies in implementing international joint academic programmes.

The session was attended by the Registrar and Senior Director of Academic Innovation, as well as the Associate Director of Institutional/Governmental Relations & Program Initiatives from ASB. Representing UPM were members of the Institutional Relations and Financial Aid Unit, School of Graduate Studies.
ASB shared its current practices in offering the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Executive MBA programmes, which feature intensive learning immersion at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan. The institution also expressed its interest in exploring future collaborations with international partners to establish joint or dual degree programmes.

The session served as a valuable platform for both institutions to exchange experiences and strengthen mutual understanding in managing international academic partnerships.
