UPM Strengthens International Collaboration at APAIE 2026 in Hong Kong
HONG KONG, March 30th, 2026 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), represented by its School of Graduate Studies (SGS), participated in the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) 2026, held in Hong Kong from 23–27 February 2026. The annual conference and exhibition is one of the region’s most prestigious platforms for higher education institutions to foster international collaboration, exchange ideas, and strengthen academic networks across the Asia-Pacific and beyond.

Representing the School of Graduate Studies were Prof. Dr. Nitty Hirawaty Kamarulzaman, Deputy Dean (Admissions, Institutional Relations and Financial Aid), and Ms. Nur Nadjla Ahmad Razei, Head of Institutional Relations. The representatives highlighted UPM’s diverse postgraduate programmes, research capabilities, and supportive academic environment.
During the conference, the delegation engaged in a series of bilateral meetings with potential partners, paving the way for future collaborations in international collaborative programmes, joint research initiatives, and academic exchange opportunities.


Through its participation in APAIE 2026, UPM reaffirms its position as a leading institution committed to academic excellence and internationalization, while continuing to build meaningful global partnerships that benefit both students and the academic members.
