Biotherapeutics is an integral and valuable tool for modern medicine to treat and prevent serious illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, heart diseases and neurodegenerative disorders. This field primarily focuses on the understanding of mechanism of actions of bioactives from bioresources through nutrigenomics tools and its delivery to the targeted tissue. Secondarily, this field emphasizes on the development of the potent bioactives for commercialization initiatives.
