COMPUTABLE STRUCTURES AND SCIENTIFIC COMPUTING

Advances in computer science have shown that computing is no longer limited to numerical types. More general structures are now more commonly used for information manipulation and computing. In addition, different logical systems and general ideas of computability are currently being explored. These developments overlap with areas of pure mathematics, theoretical computer science and theoretical physics. Applications include symbolic and graphics programming, artificial intelligence, new programming languages, and others. Current research interests include automata theory, quantum computing, computer algebra programming and applications.
