DURATION OF STUDY

(A) DOCTORAL DEGREE PROGRAMMES

      Full-Time: 2 years - 5 years

     Part-Time: 4 years - 6 years (For local student only)

(B) MASTERS DEGREE PROGRAMMES

     Full-Time: 1 year - 3 years

     Part-Time: 2 years - 4 years (For local student only)

ACADEMIC RESIDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

(A) Academic residential requirement refers to the presence (physical/non-physical) of student at the university upon registration for at least one (1) semester that is applied only to students who transferred from another university to an equivalent postgraduate programme at the University.

(B) For Joint or Dual or Double Degree programme, the student must be enrolled at each participating institution for at least one semester or as stipulated in the Agreement between UPM
and the other institution.

(C) The requirement is not applicable to non-transferred or regular students enrolled in programmes by research,by coursework and industrial programmes.
