The horticulture programme provides specialised studies in pomology, vegetable crop, turf, floriculture, ornamental and landscape horticulture as well as sustainable and organic horticulture. Areas of research include crop biotechnology, seed science and technology, propagation, growth and development, crop physiology, mineral nutrition, crop production and post harvest physiology.
