The Japanese language field is offered to equip educators or officers with knowledge of related theories and applications, as well as to produce professionals who possess advanced knowledge, skills, and competencies in the field of Japanese language and literature. A broad range of methods are used for the purpose of uncovering research questions, ranging from quantitative inquiries such as statistical analysis, to qualitative inquiries that explore grounded analysis and interpretation often used in interviews, textual and discourse analyses in various aspects of research. This Japanese language offering is expected to train and produce professionals from the public and private sectors who are constantly striving in the search of knowledge and lifelong learning as well as becoming experts in the Japanese language and literature.
