The field covers theoretical and practical aspects of journalistic writing,editing and publishing. It also focuses on writing for print media, writing for broadcast media, readability index measurement, as well as news, feature and review writing. Emphasis is also given to picture selection and caption writing, editing styles, legal and ethical issues in editing, publishing technology,copyright, and electronic publishing.
