This field specialises in management of systemic techniques in solving clinical cases, examination and identification of diseases / problems. Knowledge on swine diseases are used to perform diagnosis, treatment, disease prevention and control in herd health. Research in swine diseases includes genetic characterisation and molecular mechanism of swine diseases. Among objectives of research are development of diagnostic kits and vaccines for disease prevention.
