1. All applicants must upload their supporting documents into the applicant portal.
2. DO NOT submit documents not required for your application. This may cause unnecessary delays in your application.
3. Only one file should be uploaded for each type of documents (for example, Academic Transcript & Degree Certificate. All pages of academic transcript must be uploaded together as a single PDF/JPEG file). To do this, you are recommended to combine and compress all related documents using any available software/program.
4. All uploaded documents MUST NOT EXCEED 2 MB and should be in PDF and JPEG format. DO NOT use special characters (', _"*$%@ ?>#) when naming the file.
5. All original documents that are not in English or Malay language must be officially translated to English Language and uploaded in one PDF file.
6. The submission of fraudulent documents is illegal and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
7. A check of the authenticity of your documents will be done upon your arrival at UPM. If the documents are found to be falsified, UPM has the right to terminate your study regardless of your semester.
8. By applying to UPM, you agree to allow UPM to verify the authenticity of your documentation. UPM maintains the right to contact any government bodies, agencies, institutions, or associations in order to verify your documentation.
ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS :
Applicants who completed their education in Iran, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan and China must fulfill the additional documentation requirements:
IRAN:
Certificate and transcripts have to be officially translated by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
NEPAL:
A scanned certificate and transcripts must be officially certified by the awarding institution. Provisional certificates, Character certificates, or other certificates are not accepted.
NIGERIA:
A scanned certificate and transcripts must be officially certified by the awarding institution. If you have not yet received a final Bachelor’s certificate, you must upload a Success Certificate/ Attestation of Result (not older than 2 years). The transcripts must show when the degree was conferred. While attaching the copy of the certificate and transcripts into the system, please request your institute to email the soft copy to pg_admission@upm.edu.my, otherwise the application result will not be updated until the verification is received.
PAKISTAN:
A scanned certificate and all pages of transcripts must be certified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
CHINA:
To prove that the applicant has successfully graduated from the said institution, UPM requires that the applicant provides Graduation Certificate (毕业è¯ä¹¦), Degree Certificate (å¦ä½è¯ä¹¦) and Online Verification Report from China Credentials Verification (CSSD). It is applicable for the student whose Graduation Certificate information is kept in the CSSD database, such as the student who graduated in and after 2002. Please provide the complete documents following the format below:

ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT ISSUED IN CHINESE AND ENGLISH
These are official documents issued by the institution you attended that list all subjects taken and grades earned for each semester of study. The total credit of bachelor degree or its equivalent must be a minimum of 120 credits and officially stamped from the designated office (e.g. office of academic affairs, the office of archives) at the institution you attended. Transcript (s) must clearly show how the CGPA is derived and the scale for the CGPA (4 or 5). If the transcript does not state such calculation, please provide an official total score in percentage (%) from the university itself. Please provide an official grading system issued by the university. Self interpretations of CGPA calculations, even if certified by a public notary, WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please submit the complete documents following the format provided below:
For those who graduated from a university outside China, you must get the degree verified by the Chinese Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE). CSCSE is a national institution directly under China’s Ministry of Education.

Please take note that UPM does not accept any Self-Study or Part-Time Bachelor programs. We kindly request applicants to fully adhere to the aforementioned requirements, and UPM retains the right to reject any application for admission upon discovering any infractions or falsification of documents related to these requirements.
An incomplete application WILL NOT be processed.
