ACTIVITIES

New postgraduate students for First Semester 2019/2020 will be participating in the Briefing and Oath-taking ceremony at the Main Hall, Pusat Kebudayaan & Kesenian Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PKKSSAS), UPM. The said ceremony will be officiated by Prof. Ts. Dr. M. Iqbal Saripan, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & International). The new group comprise local and international students from more than 30 countries. Also, in attendance will be the faculty deans, directors of institutes, Student Representative Council (MPP), UPM International Students’ Association (UPMISA) and Peer Support Group (PSG).

The aim of the declarative ceremony, among other things, is to enhance the bond and elevate the level of communication between the university management committee and the new postgraduate students.

Towards the close, deputy deans of the School of Graduate Studies will give briefings and clarifications on matters covering the following perspectives: Academic, Thesis, Student Affairs, Learning Support, Publication, Financial Assistance and Mobility.

Kindly take note that letters of permission pertaining to an exemption from attending classes/practicals/designated task will be distributed on the day of the event itself.
