New postgraduate students for First Semester 2025/2026 will be participating in the Oath-Taking Ceremony and Briefing at the Main Hall, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah & Culture Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The ceremony will be officiated by YBhg. Dato' Profesor Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, Vice Chancellor, UPM.
The new batch of postgraduates will be comprising of both local and international students from more than 30 countries. Also, in attendance will be the University Management Committee, Deans of faculties, Directors of institutes and Student Representative Council (MPP). The aim of the declarative ceremony, is to express the promise of our new postgraduates in kick-starting their academic journey, which abides to the law and adheres to appropriate students' ethiques. Indirectly, it is to also enhance the bond and elevate the level of communication between the university management key personnel's and the new postgraduate students.
The deputy deans of the School of Graduate Studies will provide briefings and clarifications on matters covering the following perspectives: Academic, Thesis, Student Affairs, Learning Support, Publication, Financial Assistance and Mobility. Several key departments related to postgraduate academic processes such as the Bursary, University Health Center, Putra International Office, University Security Division as well as the Information and Development Center, will be briefing students on the necessary procedures.
