Registration Guidelines for New Postgraduate Students (International)

ONLINE REGISTRATION GUIDELINE

NEW POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS (INTERNATIONAL)

FIRST TRIMESTER 2026/2027

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ADMISSION TO UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA!

In the next few weeks, registration for the new students will open. We are excited that you will be part of UPM’s community. Your smooth registration process is very important to us. Therefore, please read carefully the following important information:

1. ACCEPTING UPM OFFER

The offer of admission is final.
Login to Postgraduate Application Portal using former id and password.
If you agree with the offer, click ACCEPT.
To change the programme or field of study, REJECT the current offer and RE-APPLY for a new programme OR change it during your first semester of study.
If you want to defer, click DEFER and choose your preferred semester to enrol in. However, please take note that our offer is valid only for 3 trimesters.

Offer	Valid until	Explanation
Third Trimester 2024/2025 (Feb 2024)	Third Trimester 2025/2026 (Feb 2025)	No longer valid. Please submit a new application to get another offer of admission.
First Trimester 2025/2026 (Jul 2025)	First Trimester 2026/2027 (Jul 2026)	Must register to the academic programme this trimester. Otherwise, the offer will expire.
Second Trimester 2025/2026 (Nov 2025)	Second Trimester 2026/2027 (Nov 2026)	*Still have one (1) more trimester to defer.
Third Trimester 2025/2026 (Feb 2026)	Third Trimester 2026/2027 (Feb 2027)	*Still have two (2) more trimesters to defer.
First Trimester 2026/2027 (Jul 2026)	First Trimester 2027/2028 (Jul 2027)	*Still have three (3) more trimesters to defer.

2. ONLINE REGISTRATION

UPM will be conducting online registration of new postgraduate students through PutraENROLL, via Applicant Portal which will be open starting from 08 June 2026. PutraENROLL is accessible to candidates who accepted or deferred the offer to the First Trimester 2026/2027. Candidates are required to complete all sections and upload all required documents into the system. Please read carefully the PutraENROLL User Manual before starting online registration to help you prepare the required documents. You are also advised to refer to the following information related to matters below:

- Visa and Pass
-  English Language Requirement
- Registration for Online Placement Test of CIEP – For inquiry: info@els.edu.my

-  Health Examination Requirement
-  Tuition Fees

Please ensure the tuition fee payment is made and combine the payment receipt with the scholarship offer letter (if any) before uploading the document to PutraENROLL.

Method of Payment:

1. Login PutraENROLL --> Payment.
2. CIMB Bank Counter: 8002155042 (U.P.M COLLECTION)
3. Online Payment through Flywire

UPM will review and endorse all the documents and information within a week. You may check your PutraENROLL from time to time to get the latest registration status. Additionally, you will receive an email notification if any section of your PutraENROLL is rejected or after your matric number has been successfully issued.

3. LATE REGISTRATION

The deadline for late registration, as follows:
- Programme by Coursework: 27 June 2026, 00.00 am

Please take note that:
- There is no registration of new students for the programme by coursework on the date mentioned above.
