Cara Membuat Kawan Baharu di Institut Pengajian Tinggi

Social arts is dominated by a small number of people. So it may be difficult for them to meet new friends at university or college. Usually, it is very normal for new students not to have many contacts at first. But don't worry because it only happens in the beginning. After all, meeting new faces from different cultural and religious backgrounds must take time to get to know each other. Indeed, it would be a challenging journey especially without good social arts such as shy or heavy-handed. If you make a mistake, others may misunderstand or distance themselves from you. However, when it comes to ways and steps, it's easy to find contacts in new places. Here, there are some tips and ways that might help you open steps to get acquainted with your university or college.

TIP 1: INTRODUCE YOURSELF TO YOUR ROOMATE

Get in touch with your roommate first. This is because, they are the people you will meet every day in the room for the entire semester. So, start by introducing your name and home country and then a university-based program. From that first introductory session, it will be a turning point to be closer each day.

TIP 2: JOIN UNIVERSITY SOCIETY/CLUB

Joining a university club is a great way to meet more people of different backgrounds. Make sure you meet a friend who is of similar interest to you or who is from the same country. You must be excited. So, be diligent about finding clubs that suit your interests so that you are more motivated to socialize and meet more people.

TIP 3: JOIN SOCIAL MEDIA GROUP

In this modern age, it is evident that every school program has several groups on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter that collect communities under the same program. So, you can search this community and become a member to learn more about current campus issues as well as meet a wider network of friends and meet more people.

TIP 4: BE PRESENT ON CAMPUS

Spend a lot of your time around campus. For example, you could go to a university library to complete an assignment or study group instead of completing it at a residential college. Thus, you will become more familiar with the campus and meet your college friends there. Being around campus can open your opportunities to talk and make friends with many people.

TIP 5: ATTEND THE CAMPUS EVENT

At the university level, there are many events to be held including sports events, culture, language and so on. Therefore, you should find the initiative to attend some of the university's events of interest in order to meet more people and acquaintances. Getting out of your comfort zone and being present at these events will keep you excited and throughout the course.
