SYMBOLS AND THEME OF NATIONAL DAY 2020
The theme ‘Malaysia Prihatin’ (Malaysia Cares) chosen for the National Day celebration this year truly brings a deeper meaning to Malaysians in line with the country’s current situation in the fight against COVID-19.
The combination of the words ‘Malaysia’ and ‘Prihatin’ describes all the people in the country standing together in fighting the pandemic and the concern of the government which had implemented numerous initiatives encompassing economic, welfare and social aspects to ensure the wellbeing of the people.
This time around, the logo is made in the shape of a heart with the colorful Jalur Gemilang as its background, symbolizing the concern of the Malaysian government towards the multi-racial society living in the country.
