SERDANG, 15 June – A total of 35 staff members from the School of Graduate Studies (SGS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), participated in an official benchmarking visit to the headquarters of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in Putrajaya as part of the SPS’s continuous efforts to strengthen the culture of integrity and good governance among its staff.
The visit, which commenced at 9.00 a.m. and concluded at 1.00 p.m., aimed to benchmark best practices in the implementation of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) at MACC, while providing participants with greater exposure to integrity values and anti-corruption initiatives.
Throughout the programme, participants attended briefing sessions on the roles and functions of MACC, followed by a talk on integrity and corruption prevention. The delegation also had the opportunity to tour the commission's facilities and observe its operational environment. The sessions provided participants with a deeper understanding of the importance of cultivating integrity, accountability, and good governance in the discharge of their daily responsibilities.
This programme is part of SGS's continuous efforts to strengthen a culture of integrity in the workplace and to raise staff awareness of the importance of transparent, ethical, and corruption-free governance. In addition to reinforcing integrity values, the visit provided SGS with the opportunity to study and adapt suitable EKSA best practices to further improve the working environment and service delivery. It is hoped that the knowledge and best practices gained from the visit will contribute to enhancing the quality of services and strengthening organisational excellence at SGS.
