Serdang, November 28th, 2025 — Ahead of the 49th Convocation Ceremony, the School of Graduate Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia, is working diligently to ensure the smooth running of the event, which will be held from November 29 to December 5, 2025. Following the completion of the gown collection process by graduating students, the staff of the School of Graduate Studies are now focused on final preparations to welcome and accompany all graduates throughout the convocation period. These preparations include coordinating graduate attendance schedules, managing documentation, verifying the list of degree recipients, arranging graduate processional routes, and assigning roles to staff involved directly in the ceremony.

Internal briefings have also been conducted to ensure that all personnel understand their responsibilities and adhere to standard operating procedures. This step is crucial to guarantee that the management of graduates is conducted in an organised, efficient, and professional manner, in line with the university’s standards for official events. The School of Graduate Studies has placed special emphasis on providing friendly and supportive services to graduates and their families, including clear guidance and assistance throughout the ceremony. This coordinated effort reflects the ongoing commitment of SGS staff to ensure a seamless, meaningful, and memorable convocation experience.

The 49th UPM Convocation marks a historic milestone for all graduates who have successfully completed their studies.
