Sunday, June 30, 2024 - the School of Graduate Studies (SPS) organized the Lens of Knowledge 2.1: Colors with Community program, which focused on raising awareness among women, particularly single mothers, about breast cancer symptoms and prevention methods in the state of Selangor. This initiative directly aimed to improve the quality of women's health in one of the rapidly developing states.

The health teams involved included the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN), the UPM Cancer Education and Clinical Resource Unit (CCARE), UPM University Health Center (PKU), and the Dental Health Division of PKU UPM. Several organizations set up exhibition booths to further enliven the event, which ran from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. These organizations included the Batu Tiga State Assembly Service Center, Women's Empowerment Center, and the Selangor Health Volunteers.

With strong cooperation and support from the Batu Tiga State Assembly Service Center, the Rukun Tetangga Club, Surau Al-Hidayah Committee Members, and the Postgraduate Students' Ambassador (PGSA) UPM, the Lens of Knowledge 2.0: Colors with Community program proceeded smoothly according to the schedule.

Special thanks and appreciation were extended to the esteemed guests who graced the event, including YB Tuan Haji Azli Bin Yusof (Member of Parliament for Shah Alam), YB Tuan Danial Al-Rashid Bin Haron Aminar Rashid (Batu Tiga State Assemblyman), YBrs.
