School of Graduate Studies has successfully organized a virtual seminar on Literature Review Writing last Friday, June 26, 2020 via Cisco Webex.
The literature review, which situates any given study in the context of past research, is arguably the most important part of a student’s thesis. This seminar illustrates this importance through a breakdown of the elements contained in an effective literature review, its relation to other parts of a thesis, such as the discussion, and the minor variations in form it takes in scientific and social scientific studies.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahrim Abdul Karim was invited as the speaker and more than 200 postgraduate students have participated in the two (2) hours briefing. At the end of the seminar, a Q & A session was conducted to give an opportunity for the participants to find out more about the related presentation that has been delivered by the speaker.
The seminar started at 10.00 am and ended at 12.00 pm.
