16 December 2024 – The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) welcomed a benchmark visit from four delegations of College of Bioresources and Agriculture, National Taiwan University. This visit serves as a continuation of the collaborative visit to NTU by delegations on 6th-7th May 2024.

Exclusively hosted by Professor Dr. Zalilah Mohd Shariff (Dean of SGS), two deputy deans, and the Institutional Relations & Financial Aid Unit, the visit set off at the building of SGS with a primary objective of discussing collaborative programs for postgraduate studies such as dual degrees and student exchanges, apart from exploring further potential collaborations.

To give a boost to NTU’s intent in developing a joint research agreement on Smart Agriculture, One Health, and Net Zero Carbon Emission, the benchmarking then resumed at two faculties: namely, the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences. At the faculties, delegations were guided to a visit at facilities such as the Biorefinery Complex and the Drone Unit room (Department of Plant Protection).
The visit later concluded with a brief campus tour at several UPM landmarks.
