Serdang - Over 1300 postgraduate students enrolled for Master and PhD at Universiti Putra Malaysia during a 2-week registration event at Complex Academic A, UPM from 27 August 2018 to 7 September 2018.

Registration Week was organized by School of Graduate Studies for students who have been accepted to Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Postgraduate student intake for the First Semester 2018/2019 (as of 18/9/2018) has increased by 5.85% compared to First Semester 2017/2018 intake. This brings the total number of student enrolment for the year 2018 to 11,459. This increase in student intake is in line with UPM’s vision to be one of Malaysia’s premier research university, and to achieve a target enrolment of 13,000 postgraduate students by 2020. Of the 1344 newly registered postgraduate students, 247 are international students from more than 20 countries and 1097 are local students.
