Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through its School of Graduate Studies (SGS) has conducted a virtual seminar entitled Organising Your Writing on Tuesday, 13th October 2020 via Zoom.

The writing component of the series explains aspects of writing that are required to produce sound academic texts but which students find difficulty in understanding or mastering. In this seminar, students learned how to develop paragraphs, construct a thesis statement, and make their sentences and paragraphs cohesive.

Prof. Ir. Dr. Chin Nyuk Ling from the Department of Process and Food Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia was invited as the speaker and there are 300 postgraduate students were participated in the two (2) hours seminar. A Q & A session was conducted to give an opportunity for the participants to ask related questions to the speaker for further understand of the topic.

The seminar started at 10.00 am and ended at 12.00 pm.
