"Pekerja Kesuma Bangsa"

May 2nd, 2024, Serdang - May 1st every year is a significant and meaningful date for all workers in Malaysia as it is a special holiday for the working class. Whether we are employees in the public sector, private sector, or self-employed, it remains a contributing factor to the country's progress.

The theme for Workers' Day 2024 is "PEKERJA KESUMA BANGSA" (The Whole Workforce, One Nation), and the logo for Workers' Day 2024 coincides with the rebranding of the Ministry of Human Resources to KESUMA.

The selection of this theme is in line with the Government's initiative to nurture human capital with common cultural characteristics, values, and aspirations, alongside competence to innovate and explore new fields, which are factors that will determine the competitiveness and prosperity of the country's future.

The Graduate School celebrates Workers' Day this year by holding a brief session to Renew the Pledge and Public Service Oath for the Graduate School staff. The oath reading was led by Mr. Mohamad Hafiz Mohamad (Assistant Registrar, Curriculum and Data Unit), Ms. Nur Nadiah Abdul Rahim (Executive Officer 3), Mr. Arif Sulaiman (Clerical Assistant (Administration and Operations)), and Ms. Siti Rahimah (Deputy Dean's Secretary).

The brief session only took a short time, starting at 8:50 in the morning and ending at 9:30 in the morning at Putra Sarjana Room. The session was attended by all Graduate School staff, including management members.
