June 24th, 2025 – The School of Graduate Studies in collaboration with Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) successfully organized another impactful session under the Putra Sarjana Seminar Series on June 24th, 2025. The seminar, entitled "Effective Strategies for Oral Presentations", was delivered by the esteemed Prof. Dr. Abdul Rashid bin Mohamed Sharif from the Faculty of Engineering, UPM, and held at the Putra Sarjana Room, UPM.

The session aimed to equip postgraduate students with practical and effective techniques to improve their oral presentation skills, especially in academic and professional settings. Prof. Dr. Abdul Rashid shared valuable insights, covering important aspects such as presentation structure, slide design, voice projection, audience engagement, and handling Q&A sessions with confidence.

Participants were highly engaged throughout the seminar, with an active Q&A session that demonstrated their keen interest and enthusiasm. The interactive nature of the session contributed to a dynamic learning environment, allowing students to clarify doubts and gain a deeper understanding of effective communication strategies.

After the main session concluded, participants took the opportunity to engage in one-on-one discussions with Prof. Dr. Abdul Rashid. This personalized interaction allowed for more in-depth exploration of presentation challenges and individual feedback.

The seminar ended around 12.00 noon with a group photography session, capturing a memorable moment for all who attended.
