September 2nd, 2025 – The School of Graduate Studies (SGS), in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully organized an impactful online workshop titled "Mastering Time Management" today. The program, which ran from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, was specifically designed to equip postgraduate students with the essential skills needed to navigate the demanding nature of advanced research and academic life.

The workshop was conducted via the Zoom Meeting platform, attracting a full house of 300 participants. The overwhelming response highlights the high level of interest among students in refining their organizational skills to better manage their academic journey. The session featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Farah Saleena Taip from the Faculty of Engineering, UPM, as the guest speaker.

During the two-hour session, Dr. Farah Saleena shared invaluable insights into effective scheduling, the art of prioritization, and practical methods to overcome procrastination. She also introduced various digital productivity tools that help students track their progress and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Her engaging presentation style fostered an interactive environment, where students actively participated in a Q&A session to address their specific challenges in managing research milestones.

As the workshop reached its conclusion at 11:30 am, the event ended on a high note with a virtual group photography session. This session served as a symbolic gesture of the shared commitment between the speakers, the organizers, and the students toward achieving organizational and academic excellence. The School of Graduate Studies and the Faculty of Engineering remain dedicated to providing such platforms that foster a professional and structured work culture among the UPM community.
