School of Graduate Studies Hosts a Visit from SEARCA

17th May, 2024, Serdang - The School of Graduate Studies hosted two representatives from the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA); Dr. Nova Ramos, Head of the Education and Collective Learning Department - Training for Development Unit, and Ms. Zacyl R. Jalotjot, a Program Specialist.

During their visit, both representatives from SEARCA were briefed on the progress of two forthcoming projects spearheaded by UPM. These initiatives include updates on the University Consortium Faculty Forum (UCFF) and preparations for a workshop concerning Work Package 4 (WP4): Monitoring, Review and Evaluation as part of the Postgraduate Micro-credential in Food Security and Climate Change (PMC FSCC) Project.

Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nitty Hirawaty Kamarulzaman, the Deputy Dean of Admission, Institutional Relations and Financial Aid expressed her excitement and affirmed the school's commitment to effectively coordinating and successfully organizing these events. Also in attendance were Ms. Nur Nadjla Ahmad Razei, Head of the Institutional Relations and Financial Aid Unit, along with Mrs. Nur Nadiah Abdul Rahim and Ms. Nursyareiza Azali from the same unit.

As both parties part ways, it is hoped that the fruitful discussions and exchange of ideas during this engagement will serve as a driving force for future collaborations. The discussion concluded with an exchange of souvenirs, symbolizing mutual appreciation between both parties.
