November 20th, 2024 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) held the Quality and Service Innovation Day (HKIP) UPM 2023/2024 celebration on November 20, 2024 (Wednesday), at the Dewan Besar, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre (PKKSSAAS), UPM. With the theme "Fostering Innovation, Upholding Quality," this year's HKIP UPM 2023/2024 celebration was held for the ninth time and jointly organized by the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) and the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre (PKKSSAAS), UPM.

The organization of the Quality and Service Innovation Day (HKIP) 2023/2024 provides a platform for staff of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to drive and cultivate innovation and creativity within the Responsibility Centres (PTJ), which can be beneficial for the organization.
The Vice-Chancellor of UPM, Dato' Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd. Sadullah, expressed confidence that the comprehensive implementation of innovation could build a brighter future by ensuring that quality becomes a culture at the university. In addition, Dato' Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan also launched the “UPM Service Innovation Book 2016 - 2024,” which compiles innovation projects from the HKIP competition from 2016 to 2024, as well as the “Apel.C UPM Guidebook” published by CQA for students, advisors, moderators, and evaluators. The Director of the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) UPM, Prof. Ir. Dr. Abd. Rahim Abu Talib, mentioned that this biennial program with the theme “Fostering Innovation, Upholding Quality” contributes to the enhancement of service delivery quality to clients, ensuring that UPM strengthens its services and remains relevant.
