UPM and Universitas Syiah Kuala Explore Dual Degree Collaboration
Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), through its School of Graduate Studies (SGS), welcomed a delegation from Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Indonesia, for a strategic discussion aimed at strengthening academic collaboration between the two institutions. The meeting focused on the proposed establishment of a Dual Degree programme for postgraduate studies, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the partnership under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in January 2024.

Both institutions presented overviews of their respective academic initiatives, with UPM highlighting its International Collaborative Programme (ICP) and USK sharing its ongoing international partnerships under similar collaborative frameworks. The session concluded with both institutions reaffirming their commitment to strengthening academic cooperation and enhancing long-term strategic collaboration.
