UPM Participates in Study in Malaysia Education Fair Pakistan 2024

September 11th - 23rd, 2024 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) successfully participated in the Study in Malaysia Education Fair Pakistan 2024, held from 12 to 23 September 2024. The event took place in three major cities: Dolmen Mall, Karachi; Ramada by Wyndham Hotel, Lahore; and Nishat Emporium, Lahore. UPM was represented by its promotional ambassadors, Cik Nur Shazleen Ilyana Sharifuddin and Encik Muhammad Akees Abu Mansor. Other participating universities included Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), UCSI University, Multimedia University (MMU), Management and Science University (MSU), Asia Pacific University (APU), and the University of Cyberjaya.

Organized by EMGS Malaysia, the fair attracted over 400 visitors across all three cities, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response. The program was further energized by the "Jom! Malaysia, Chalo!" initiative, organized by the Malaysian General Consulate in Karachi, which highlighted edutourism elements and provided strong support in ensuring the event's success.

Besides establishing booths at the exhibition, UPM representatives also visited various schools and universities, such as the Institute of Business Management Korangi, Bahria University Islamabad Campus, and The City School Ravi Campus. The program concluded with a dinner attended by vice-chancellors of universities and heads of schools, which further strengthening international academic collaborations between both Pakistan and Malaysia universities.
