Universiti Putra Malaysia extended a warm welcome to the visitors who came to the Postgraduate Open Day on 6 & 7, May 2017 in the Main Hall, Pusat Kebudayaan Dan Kesenian Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Prospective students had the chance to meet faculty and institute experts and gain advice about choosing the right programme by going to Faculty and Exhibition booths and attending the postgraduate programmes briefing and Question and Answers session.
The event, conducted by School of Graduate Studies, is also meant to facilitate prospective students to apply for their chosen course online. Applicants who successfully submitted their application on the 2-day event were eligible to get their processing fee waived.
Around 1,200 prospective students visited the event, more than double on last year's attendance. Exhibitors involved were from School of Graduate Studies, Ministry of Higher Education, UPM Education Training, ELS Language Centre, Putra Business School, 18 institutes and 16 faculties including from Bintulu Sarawak Campus.
