March 22^nd 2024, SERDANG – As a consistent effort in align with the User-Based Document Transformation Workshop Series 1 held on March 15, the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) has organized the User-Based Document Transformation Workshop Series 2 at Thinker Space 2.0, Faculty of Engineering.

The main objective of the workshop was to review and harmonize the 47 documents managed by SGS to ensure that the new documents produced are more user-focused and reduce the number of documents that need to be referenced.

A total of 25 workshop participants were divided into five (5) groups to examine different components: Postgraduate Teaching & Learning Procedures, Postgraduate Teaching & Learning Guidelines for the School of Graduate Studies category, Department (PTJ) category, Lecturer category, and finally the student category. Targeted discussions with representatives from each unit provided more input for the realignment of existing documents. The relevance of documents to current graduate processes, process improvements, and suggestions for adding appropriate documents according to needs were among the key points outlined in the discussions of each group.

The one-day workshop concluded with a sharing session on the progress of each group's discussions and a photography session at 4.30 pm.
