Visit by Alumni Chapter Indonesia 2024 to School of Graduate Studies

October 11th, 2024 - School of Graduate Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia received a visit from Alumni Chapter Indonesia 2024. The total of 72 UPM alumni from Indonesia delegation led by Professor Dr. Imas Sukaesih Sitanggang was warmly welcomed by Assoc. Professor Dr. Nitty Hirawaty Kamarulzaman, Deputy Dean (Admission, Institutional Relations and Financial Aid) of SGS, Mrs. Pavithra Panir Selvam and Ms. Nur Nadjla Ahmad Razei, the Assistant Registrar officer of SGS.

This visit strengthens the connection between School of Graduate Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia and its postgraduate alumni community that aimed to fostering relationships, sharing knowledge, and exploring potential collaborations that may give benefit both current students and alumni.

Assoc. Professor Dr. Nitty Hirawaty Kamarulzaman shared the background of UPM’s achievements, particularly in SPS, with a brief explanation and welcomed the head of the Indonesian delegation, Professor Dr. Imas Sukaesih Sitanggang, to give a few words. After that, the alumni were taken on a tour of the viva room to reminisce about the moments when they presented their theses. This brief tour ended with a photo session at 9:30 a.m.
