Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through its School of Graduate Studies (SGS) has conducted a virtual seminar entitled Computer Security on Tuesday, 28th July 2020 via Cisco Webex
Although seemingly commonsensical, students often find their research being completely thrown off track after malfunctions in their hardware and software cause essential data to be lost. This seminar had provided students with tips on how to back up their data effectively, as well as how to protect themselves against these malfunctions in the first place.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Taufik Abdullah from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia was invited as the speaker and more than 300 postgraduate students participated in a one-hour seminar. A Q & A session was conducted to give an opportunity for the participants to ask related questions to the speaker for further understanding of the topic.
The seminar started at 10.00 am and ended at 11.00 am.
