In the next few weeks, registration for the new students will open and we are excited that you will be a part of UPM’s community. Your smooth registration process is very important to us. Therefore, please read carefully the following information:

| REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS AND OFFER VALIDITY |
- The offer of admission is final, and the registration is open to candidates who have accepted their admission offer or deferred offer to the current intake; First Semester 2026/2027 (September 2026 Intake).
- A candidate is not permitted to defer admission for more than two (2) semesters/ sessions or three (3) trimesters.
- The offer of admission is automatically withdrawn if the candidate fails to register within the stipulated time, or are deemed medically unfit to pursue the studies, or if any information or documents submitted in the application and registration are found to be incorrect or falsified. Please contact the Admissions Unit if a second deferment is required, to reject the accepted offer via sgs.admissions@upm.edu.my or request for a change of programme/ field of study at least two (2) weeks before the registration period stated in the offer letter.

| PUTRAENROLL REGISTRATION |
|
The registration for new postgraduate students is conducted online via PutraENROLL, accessible through the Applicant Portal, beginning 07 September 2026. Candidates are required to complete all seven (7) sections and upload/ update all required documents through the system. The completed sections will take at least a week to be vetted and endorsed by the School of Graduate Studies, University Health Centre (PKU) and the Bursar Office, UPM. Before commencing the online registration, applicants are strongly advised to read the PutraENROLL User Manual carefully to ensure that the registration process can be completed smoothly.

Note: Please take note that there will be no extension for registration for new students who missed the deadline after the date mentioned above.

| REGISTRATION FEES |
|
The university is not responsible for securing any financial support to fund your studies. Therefore, you are advised to do a financial plan to avoid any issue of payment for tuition fees in the future. Registration fee needs to be paid in full. For local candidates who received scholarship awards from any of the sponsoring bodies listed below, there is an additional fee imposed for medical insurance that is not covered in the scholarship. Candidates are required to combine the registration receipt with the scholarship offer letter before uploading the combined documents.

| HEALTH EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS |
|
All new students must demonstrate that they are in good health. Every new student must declare their health status through PutraENROLL during the registration process for screening purposes. The health status must be filled out truthfully, and any discrepancy discovered after the health examination will be deemed an offence for which action may be taken. Please check the following terms and regulation of health-related disorder for admission expecially for international student to Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Medical examination report is not required to be uploaded into PutraENROLL as candidates are encouraged to do the medical examination only after completing the registration process and having obtained the student’s matric number
