SERDANG, May 30^th 2022- The School of Graduate Studies and all departments in UPM successfully held their Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration Ceremony simultaneously on the same day, Monday, 30 May 2022.

This enormous celebration was intended to enable staffs from different department to travel and feel the excitement in different workspaces. Not being left behind, SGS has started its thorough preparations several weeks before the actual day of the event.

The Hari Raya Celebration was kickstarted with the SGS 2021 Appreciation Ceremony in the morning. The ceremony was to recognize and appreciate members of the department that have contributed to the growth and advancement of the department in the year 2021.

Recognition ceremony was followed by with the long-awaited session of the feast which served a variety of special food choices such as lemang, ketupat, rendang, soto, bihun sup, nasi hujan panas, cendol, raya cookies and so much more.

Apart from the the backdrop of the hymn and the decoration of rhombus and flashing light, the atmosphere of the Aidilfitri celebration on that day making it a memorable moment that will never be forgotten.

The joy of the Hari Raya celebration like this can also be seen to some extent to foster the bond among UPM residents, especially SGS staffs. As the spirit of Aidilfitri emerges through the event, UPM citizens can make this event as a platform to forgive each other and get to know each other.
