This field involves the study of aspects of modern and classical Chinese Literature, with the main focus on Malaysian Chinese literature. The field also includes the reading and appreciation of great works of classical and modern Chinese literature. Emphasis is particularly given to aspects of Chinese culture, philosophy and history.
